Will my customer tags carry over?

Yes. Both apps read Shopify's native customer tags, which live on the customer record and belong to your store, not to any app. Nothing is copied or migrated: the same wholesale tag that opened a gate before opens it after. Uninstalling either app leaves the tags exactly where they were.

It is also not a lock app. It collects and vets applicants, and something else has to hide the catalog and stop the checkout. If your registration flow is genuinely complex, Helium is deeper than what we ship, and running Helium alongside Prime Lock is a sensible configuration rather than a compromise.

Where Helium Customer Fields is a good fit

The form builder is the real product: drag-and-drop, multi-step forms, conditional logic, custom fields written to metafields, file uploads, email verification, and customer self-service editing so a buyer can update their own company details later without emailing you. Nothing else in this category is close on form depth.

The approval side is equally mature, with conditional auto-tagging plus Flow and Zapier hooks, so an approval can trigger whatever else your business does when a wholesale account opens. If your vetting involves more than one person or more than one system, Helium is built for that and we are not.

If your problem is collecting and vetting B2B applicants, Helium solves it more completely than anything else on the App Store, including us. We would rather say that than pretend otherwise.

Note your existing rules
Write down every rule you have configured in Helium Customer Fields: what it protects, who it lets in, and any schedule attached to it. This is the only step that takes real time, and doing it before you install anything makes the rest mechanical.

Recreate them as locks
